 New Teachers!

image1Lejla Mujic is a first generation immigrant from Bosnia with a really big family and an even bigger heart. The importance of relationships and community is a strong value she grew up with.

She’s a young woman who is fortunate enough to have found one of her passions early on in life. She never really knew what she would be when she grew up, (and still doesn’t) but she knew she had a message to spread and that teaching was one of her callings.

Her yoga practice has played a huge role in shaping who she is today and who she strives to be. She has experienced it’s benefits first hand and truly believes that yoga and its teachings can serve anyone and wants to share it with the world.

She has been practicing since she was sixteen and with inspiration from her teachers, took the leap into yoga teacher training.

Her favorite styles of yoga to teach and practice are hot vinyasa and karma yoga.
Besides teaching yoga, she also models, travels, and attends college. She is a passionate advocate for animals and the environment and strives to live her life as compassionately as possible.

Kristina GraberWelcome back Kristina Graber Certified Ashtanga teacher with 18 years of yoga experience. She’s earned her BA in Dance from the U of MN. Was a modern dance performance company member in Mpls with over 25 years ballet, modern dance and movement classes. She held teaching positions at: Yoga House, Edina, Life Time Fitness clubs, Mn and Singapore American Club. She has taught workshops and classes at Ommotion, Mtka, Boulder Ballet, Boulder Colorado and for the US Ambassador to Singapore.

She is taking over Saturday mornings at 9:00 AM. Come on down to get a chance to work with her!

 

unnamed3Yoga found Stephanie Stillman a few years back when she applied to work on an organic farm in Hawaii. At the time, she didn’t realize the farm was home to an Ayurveda & Yoga center. Her journey to become an organic farmer gracefully transformed into a life of Yoga, Ayurveda and organic farming. They each have a common thread – connection to Nature.

Stephanie is now certified in Raja Yoga with emphasis in Ayurveda. She continues to work closely with her original teachers and travels to Hawaii each year to assist them with Yoga teacher trainings. Whether the intention is to increase flexibility and strength, alleviate aches and pains, clear emotional blockages or all of the above, Stephanie guides her students through a practice tailored to their needs. She has a holistic perspective on life and health, and gently assists individuals on their journey back to balance. Stephanie lives true to the authentic practices of Yoga & Ayurveda and is currently studying to become an Ayurvedic Health Counselor. On the side, Stephanie spends time growing organic vegetables on her farm, Muddy Feet Farm.

Raja Yoga Thursdays at 10:00 AM  60 Minutes  Open to All Levels
Stephanie’s traditional Raja Yoga taught through an Ayurvedic perspective. Each class is appropriately challenging, meeting you at your starting point. By focusing on breath, alignment, and longer holds this class gives you the opportunity to explore your Self in a whole new way. Increase your strength and flexibility, decrease body aches and pains, learn tools to eliminate stress, and leave class feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. You’ll be surprised what can happen in only an hour! Great for all levels, from beginners to those looking to deepen their practice.
